Canterbury Creatives had a wonderful time at the Hope 18 Churches Together event in Dane John Gardens in Canterbury this July. The weather was amazing. We were able to have many great conversations about the work we do, encourage children to take part in some art work and give away some gifts too.

Preparations are well underway for Canterbury Creatives’ appearance at the Hope 18 Summer Family Fun Day that will bring together outdoor games, bouncy castle and face painting with live music, prayer and gospel presentations. We will have a stall detailing the work we do and offer the opportunity to connect with other creatives across the area.

Members of Canterbury Creatives have begun a new home group meeting during the day for a time of sharing, encouragment, study and prayer. Meetings will take place approximately every fortnight and we will be initially studying the beautiful “Faith in the Making” book by local author Lyndall Bywater.

Author Andrew Buller gave an enlightening talk to Route 23 in Canterbury about his work with Catching Lives homeless charity in writing the Harbledown book series with them.

Members of Canterbury Creatives have joined forces to attend a number of local sales events. Individuals have greatly benefited from the support and encouragement of one another, as well as widening their own reach into new parts of the county.
