There will be a launch party for Bobbie Ann Cole’s new book Being Lena Levi at the Miller’s Arms in Canterbury on Monday, 23rd September from 7.30-9pm.

Being Lena Levi is one girl’s search for identity when an unsuspected mother appears. It is set in Canterbury and Israel in 1950.

At this open event Bobbie will be interviewed about her book and will be reading from it.

Bobbie is the author of two Amazon no.1 bestselling faith memoirs. She speaks on issues raised in her books, runs workshops and teaches creative writing.

The Association of Christian Writers Group meets in Canterbury on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. For more information and to join contact Bobbie Ann Cole.

This innovative project, entitled ’Every picture tells a story’, was a six session photographic course run by Jen Holland for people with a diagnosis of dementia, running from Oct-Dec 2018 in Canterbury.

Members of Canterbury Creatives will be attending the Barham School PTA Christmas Fair on Saturday 8th December 2018 between 2 and 5pm. It was wonderful for many of the Canterbury Creatives to be part of Route 23’s 3rd birthday celebrations and to share about the work of our local creatives. It was lovely to see so many from the local community enjoying themselves and this wonderful resource that is open every Tuesday.

Members of Canterbury Creatives David Weeks, Jen Holland and Rachel Williams are exhibiting their work at 16 Victoria Road in Canterbury over the Festival period.
