Being Lena Levi

There will be a launch party for Bobbie Ann Cole’s new book Being Lena Levi at the Miller’s Arms in Canterbury on Monday, 23rd September from 7.30-9pm.

Being Lena Levi is one girl’s search for identity when an unsuspected mother appears. It is set in Canterbury and Israel in 1950.

At this open event Bobbie will be interviewed about her book and will be reading from it.

Bobbie is the author of two Amazon no.1 bestselling faith memoirs. She speaks on issues raised in her books, runs workshops and teaches creative writing.

New Year Tet Party

Join the Tet Party for the Vietnamese New Year on the 10th February 2019 from 1-4pm at the Westgate Hall, in Canterbury.

Celebrate with a buffet, dragon dance, bamboo dancing, music and handicrafts.

Supporting Andrew Buller & CCSWT in crowdfunding on Just Giving to raise money to fund the production of a seven book series to raise the confidence and self-esteem of young children

Canterbury Creatives are assisting local author and illustrator Andrew Buller in creating his Confident Rhymers book series that will be used by local charity Canterbury Christian School’s Work Trust to deliver confidence-building sessions to 5-7 year olds in schools. It was wonderful for many of the Canterbury Creatives to be part of Route 23’s 3rd birthday celebrations and to share about the work of our local creatives. It was lovely to see so many from the local community enjoying themselves and this wonderful resource that is open every Tuesday.
